It’s item which can be unlocked from cb-s on certain piece with 0 upgraded power level (and making 1st), is upgradable to 2nd and 3rd levels, and brings some dynamic ideas into the games.
In ChBrTi, each piece has its own Ability. So if piece is weaker than another one, it doesn’t mean that its Super (Super=Ability) is weaker too. It’s different. Each chessmen is unique. Yes?!
What Super Ability is[]
It’s unusual action which can be used instead of moving (or as unusual moving): once per piece (everyone in two-player modes, pawn-like player in team modes); or x times per game, 3 full moves after previous usage (2 times (for substantive piece owner) in team Duel with Support, 2 times in multiplayer SpecDescent, 3 times in multiplayer Pieces’ Battle).
Faze of giving this[]
After choice which piece’s type(s) will player use and where they will stand on the start (or they’ll be in hand), player with Super Abilities on at least one of these pieces chooses which piece(s) will be able to use Super once in the game. It means “which piece(s) from these who are already on the board or in hand (2 standing rooks, or 4 pawns) will be able to use it” (not “rook(s)” or “warrior(s)”, just “right rook”, or “2 central warriors”). If you have 1 piece, Super is chosen automatically.
Super Abilities Limits[]
- 3 substantive pieces;
- 2 substantive & 2 pawn-like pieces;
- 1 substantive & 3 pawn-like pieces;
- 5 pawn-like pieces.
For pawn-like — maximum is 3 pieces of one type (i. e. 3 from warriors, or pawns , etc.) with Super, for substantive — maximum is 1 of one type (i. e. 1 from knights, mages, etc.).
However if pawn-like piece with not used Super promotes to substantive piece on which player also has Ability, this pawn-like piece doesn’t lose the possibility of using Super of this substantive piece which it is, even through the limits.
When you promote your pawn-like piece, you see the colored border of round of the piece which’s able to be your choice if it has the Ability (color depends on level).
